About

A handbound journal
I thought i must do something with this image as the lighthouse is no longer there. It was in danger of being washed into the sea so was dismantled, some of its contents to be housed in a museum

I am a printmaker  born in London but at home by the sea. I have lived in East Anglia for many years, where the coast, the wildlife and coastal activities have been the focus of many of my prints and photographs.

I became fascinated by bookbinding while I studied as a mature student for first a degree and then a Masters in Fine Art at Norwich School Of Art And Design (now NUCA).

I love the wildlife that lives in or visits a large (and largely untamed!) garden near to the sea and close to where I am lucky to have a studio housing my large Albion platen press made in the 1850’s.

My work is mainly handbound sketch/notebooks covered with calico on which I print various lino cuts of local scenes of Suffolk, the books are mostly covered front and back with the images.

I also work to commission.

I have work for sale in :-

The Aldeburgh Book Shop
‘Browsers’ bookshop in Woodbridge
Craft Co in Southwold

Narwhal Interiors in Framlingham

ejart creative , Grange Farm, Hasketon

I have exhibited at various Norfolk open studios and The Norwich Print Fair
